Description

The DCC-12 is an electric vehicle charge controller specially designed to allow a charging station to be connected to an electrical panel that would otherwise not have sufficient capacity to allow connection.

Functioning

• Real-time reading of the energy consumption of the home electrical panel
• Detects when the total energy consumption exceeds 80% of the capacity of the main circuit breaker and temporarily cuts off power to the charging station
• Automatically replenishes the charging station when the total consumption of the electrical panel is less than 80% of its capacity for more than 15 minutes

• Avoids having to change an electrical panel that is at full capacity
• Adds no additional load to the electrical panel thanks to energy management
• NEMA 3R enclosure for indoor and outdoor installation
• Can be installed on the wall or ceiling

Disadvantages

• Adding a DCC does not increase the value of your home unlike a change in electrical panel
