On the occasion of the speech on the 2024-2025 budget on March 12, 2024, the financing of the “Roulez vert” program of the government of Québec will see a gradual reduction in the amounts of aid financial grant granted for the acquisition of electric vehicles starting January 1, 2025. The program will end on December 31, 2026.
The maximum amount of $7,000 offered on the purchase of a new electric vehicle will be maintained for vehicles registered before or in 2024.
For a new electric vehicle registered from 2025, the maximum amount will be $4,000.
